Its nice to know that somebody looks and cares for other people's horses, the same way as I would.
It was easy to find a transporter as the stud is so close to Dubbo and Gilgandra and most of them go that way all the time.
They are very horse-minded people. I was very happy with the way my mare was looked after during her stay, whilst I was away overseas.
She was fed essential minerals with her feeds each day, as well as having free choice to minerals. This way she could balance herself.
I cannot speak highly enough. My mare came back fit, well and glowing with dapples from good health. The bloom on her coat was incredible....................................J. Trakilovic |

Your thoroughbred horse, all racehorses and breeding horses. We are happy to have them here for spelling.
Your thoroughbred horse will want to stay here, mares and racehorses will love the freedom of the countryside. We are 70 km from Dubbo and 32 km from Gilgandra. As we work on organic principles, our paddocks are very sustainable. We have tried to ensure that the microbial biomass are always increasing. We do not use any chemical sprays or fertilisers. We believe that man-made fertilisers lock up the nutrients, thus depleting the grasses of what is needed. During this prolonged period of drought, all horses are individually fed full feeds.
Horses have their own large yards. However, we will give them access to a paddock during the day if you wish. The choice is entirely yours.
Because we are situated between Dubbo and Gilgandra it is no problem getting transport to the stud. All the main transporters go down the Newell Highway. As we are only 16 kilometres off the main highway, there is no problem getting your horse here or having it picked up. There is plenty of room to turn horse trucks if you are delivering your mare or thoroughbred yourself. We are horse people and we understand the frustration of delivering your horse only to find that you need to back out because there is no room to turn.
The property consists of 1,000 acres and all of it is under natural pasture. The agistment paddocks are well fenced and have a lot of shade trees. All paddocks are well watered. Foaling mares are kept in a smaller paddock where they are monitored right throughout the night. We supplement our own brood mare band and stallion with natural minerals on a free choice selection. If you would like to have these minerals available for your horse, then please tell us.
The horse complex is up near the house. It is here that we have the individual post and rail fenced yards. Whatever your need is, then please contact us. Please note that the Ponies & Hacks agistment is in a separate area for health reasons.
Our paddocks are safe.

Post and rail fencing on the individual yards. The open paddocks are being fenced electrically with white tops and sighter wire.
Be in the winners circle today and send your mare to Chittering Gully Stud where she can be pampered and treated as though she was one of our own horses.
