Agistment for ponies and hacks..... situated between Dubbo and Gilgandra.

Several flexible agistment packages are available.  

Discounts are available for clients with two or more horses.  We have put the costs below and have put charges for doing the work on a daily basis.  This way, you can calculate your costs.  Most riders who reside in Dubbo or Gilgandra are happy to do their own horse on the weekend or even through the week. 

Riders have the use of the dressage arenas, and other facilities. We have a limited number of individual feed lockers for people to keep their feed, saddle and bridle in.

We have two grass  dressage arenas.  One full size of  20m x 60m and the other of 20m x 40m.  Round yard, wash bay, vet crush and picnic area. 

Feed is available from the stud and can be delivered to your locker for you. 

All paddocks are safely fenced with electric wire, sighter wires and white tops on posts.  Below is a shot of one of the posts used.

All accounts are payable one month in advance.  Statements are sent on the 15th of the month with payment due by the last day of the month.  5% interest will be charged on overdue accounts.

Vaccinations for tetanus and strangles need to be up to date and a veterinary certificate provided before any horse is accepted.  Vets will be used from either Dubbo or Gilgandra at owners cost.

Shared Paddock only 

Facilities:  Use of arenas, wash bay, round yard, vet crush, and picnic facilities.

If you choose paddock only, the horses will be rotated around the property into different paddocks, ensuring they have fresh grass on a continuing basis.  The property has a generous number of shade trees and has an assortment of grasses in the pasture.  Horses will be brought back close to the main facilities for the weekends. 

Cost $30.00 per week.  

Shared Paddock - Small group up to 6 horses

Facilities:  Private Feed Locker, Individual Feeding Yard & Tack Room.  Use of arenas, wash bay, round yard, vet crush and picnic facilities.

This paddock also has an assortment of shade trees and grasses.  While the individual feeding yard ensures that your horse gets its full quota of feed.

Cost $40.00 per week plus whatever feed you require.

Private 2 acre Paddocks.

The individual paddocks of 2 acres  are constructed in electric fencing with sighter wires and white tops on the posts. The paddocks will have wooden rails at the corners for you to rest your feed bin on.  This is the solution if you want your horse to be in a paddock on its own.

Cost for paddock is $50.00  per week, plus whatever feed you require. 

To rug, unrug, feed and clean yard will cost an additional $10.00 per day.

Private 2 acre Paddocks  and horse stabled at night.

These paddocks are the same as the ones above.  They are constructed in electric fencing with sighter wires and white tops on posts.  Your horse is walked out from his/her stable and put in the paddock and returned at night. 

Cost is $90.00  per week, plus whatever feed you require.   

To rug, unrug, feed and clean yard will cost an additional $10.00 per day.

Stable & Day Yard

Facilities:  Private Feed Locker & Tack Room in stable complex.   Individual paddock, use of arenas, wash bay, round yard , vet crush, and picnic area.

Horses will be locked up at night in large airy stables and put in yards during the day. 

Cost for stable and yard will be $50.00 per week, plus whatever feed you require. 

To muck out stable, rug and unrug, feeding three times a day and walking horse from stable to day yard and back will cost an additional $10.00 per day.

For the retired horse

If you have a loved horse that is no longer an active ride, then we are happy to spell it for you.  As you won't be using the arenas or the other facilities, we are happy to provide your trusted friend with a quiet paddock at a reduced cost.  We try to keep any of the older ones in an area by themselves. 

Cost for paddock  is  $20.00 plus whatever feed you require.   

To rug, unrug, feed and clean yard will cost an additional $10.00 per day.

Additional services.

Veterinary, farrier and teeth will be done at clients expense.  Small charge if you can't be here to assist provider of service required.  It is your choice whether they come from Gilgandra or Dubbo.
