Agistment for cattle..... situated between Dubbo and Gilgandra.

  • We have short or long term agistment for cattle on 1,000 acres with permanent water.
  • Agistment is all we do, so for anyone wanting to extend their pasture on a permanent basis, we are ideal.
  • We will check your stock and move them to fresh paddocks when the need arises.

  • Your agistment covers grass, fences, and the use of the yards, when available.
  • It does not cover:
  • Us doing any cattle yard or management work except for what is stated above.

  • Bulls charged at $6.00 per head per week.

How many cattle can I agist?

  • Long Term
    • We have carried 120 head for 18 months continually when the weather was really really dry, during the 10 year drought. There was always feed in front of them.

  • All stock including calves and bulls must have an NLIS device fitted before coming on to the property.
  • We will advise the NLIS database of moves to our property. However, you must supply a text or CSV document to us to upload before cattle arrive on the property. Otherwise get a stock and station agent to upload the data from your scanner prior to coming.
  • It is your responsibility to advise the NLIS database when you move them off our property.
  • We will provide to you at cost the following:
    • White NLIS tags for any calves born on the property.
    • Orange postbreeder NLIS tags for any animal that has lost its eartag.
    • Vendor Declaration Forms for your cattle to be moved from the property.
  • You will bring your own scanner to use in the yards
  • You must attach any NLIS devices, we provide to you.

Pasture/Fencing:

  • Fencing is a mixture of ringlock, barb and some newer electric fencing.

Facilities:

There are good timber cattle yards on the property, which you are free to use for loading and unloading. To use them at other times. we need to know when you are planning to do so. Please bear in mind that if someone is agisting on the other side at the same time as you and they wish to truck their stock out, the cattle yards need to be clear on that day.
